Gorgeous Amanda Vietheer is the star again in this fashion spread featuring outfits from Pigeonhole (Wintergarden Queen Street Mall, Brisbane). The graceful movements of this Brisbane model against the pure and breathtaking Stradbroke Island are captured by Steve Bull, Principle Photographer of Black Bee Studio. WONDERMIKA editor Melati Kamaruddin curates the outfits for this shoot and styles the model on location. This all-Brisbane fashion crew is not complete without Maria Rivera, makeup artiste and hairstylist who puts the look together brilliantly. Different from the previous shoot which featured edgy clothing from Sheike, this shoot is softer with a touch of romance. This collaborative effort aims to highlight Brisbane talents from photographers and models to makeup artist and hairstylist. Read on for the journey of this fashion crew.
Amanda takes a deep breath of the fresh air and lets the soft fabrics dance in the wind. This outfit is great on sunny days. Maria completes the look with deep purple lips and delicately braided hair. Melati adds a twig pendant for minimalist yet mysterious accessorising, inviting you to take a closer look.
This peek-a-boo embroidered playsuit from Pigeonhole is refreshing yet cheeky. Melati adds a white bangle to lighten up the look.
A semi-matte and slightly dewy foundation is fabulous in sunny weather. Groomed eyebrows gives the face some definition. Steve captures amazing shots despite the sandstorm and scorching hot weather.
This wooden bangle is both natural and modern looking, a great balance to the playsuit. Kudos to Amanda for being able to open her eyes on a very sunny day. Not an easy feat for any model.
Amanda wears playsuits, necklace and bangles, from Pigeonhole. They ship internationally. For those of you who are lucky to be based here in Australia, shipping is free or you can pop into the store. The last we checked (last week), both dresses were still available at the Wintergarden Queen Street Mall, Brisbane. Get it while you can!
Did you know?
Maria did the makeup with Amanda sitting at the back of Steve’s 4×4. The wind was extraordinarily strong that the tent could not hold up. The reflector even flew away a few times sending Maria running after it! No one else was on the beach so Amanda could easily change into other outfits with the boys standing on the other side of the 4×4. We were shooting against the time and the tide. It’s true when they say, time and tide waits for no man. As soon as we finished shooting, we had to wrap up quick to avoid the tides closing in and potentially trapping the 4×4 on the beach. What an adventure!
Special thanks to Wintergarden Queen Street Mall and Chris Reid and Karin Wong of Sequel PR.
